A Bamboo whisk (Chasen) is traditionally used in Japanese Tea Ceremony to blend the tea powder with water.
The Matcha Shaker was designed and manufactured in Japan to offer an easy way to enjoy Matcha without need for a bamboo whisk. It performs the same function as a Bamboo Whisk yet makes for an easy and fuss free way to make a lovely cup of Matcha

WHAT'S THE SECRET?
The many holes found under the lid help produce delicate soft bubbles of Matcha which lead to an incredibly smooth and foamy texture to your Matcha.
WHAT IS IT MADE FROM?
This unique Matcha Shaker device is made out of BPA-free Tritan. It is completely free of bisphenol A (BPA), bisphenol S and any other bisphenol compounds as well as estrogenic and androgenic activity.⠀

It also comes with a removable steel sieve that sits atop the Matcha Shaker cylinder so the tea can be pushed through to create an extra fine powder

How to Use
How to Use
Making a cup of Matcha has never been easier, especially when using our convenient Matcha Shaker.

- Push 2 heaped Bamboo Scoops (approx. 1/2 Teaspoon) of Matcha Powder through a sieve into your cup. NOTE: if you want a stronger flavour we recommending adding up to 1-2 Teaspoons of Matcha
- Pour in around 50ml (1/4 cup) of hot water (no hotter than 80 degrees), just enough to cover the Matcha Powder.
- Blend the Matcha and Water by mixing with a spoon vigorously (Tip - you can also use a handheld milk frother or bamboo whisk to blend to get a better result)
- Add 200ml milk to the dissolved Matcha & Water Mix
- Add 1-2 teaspoons of sweetener (we recommend Maple Syrup) to taste (optional)
